There is a lot of cosmetic surgery that does go wrong. You don't always hear of a lot of it in the news, usually you will hear about the odd procedure going wrong or faulty implants like the PIP ones a few years ago, but apart from that most of the time you don't hear about things going wrong.
When researching on the internet I was amazed how many cosmetic procedures I came across that had gone wrong or that people had died from!!
One man I came across had even had a fluid leaked into his body from a procedure that nearly killed him yet still he carries on, a therapist has now diagnosed him with body dysmorphia. You do wonder if that illness has got even worse from carrying on with the surgery. I feel like it would have never got to where it was now if he had never had the first procedure.

Other story is a women who jumped off a building after having a facelift from one of Beverley Hills best cosmetic surgeons. It makes you think do these procedures really make these people feel better and happier or is it something a lot deeper.

There has been quite a few known cases of people dying after having bum implants. Over the years I have seen at least five I remember of either on TV in the news or online and I'm sure there will be hundreds more.
A lot of people have surgery from people who aren't fully qualified. In certain countries or states they have be a doctor who might not have a cosmetic background but who can still perform these procedures on people, which is a very scary thought. Also even here in the UK people can perform non-cosmetic procedures on people like Botox and fillers. There is even places like hairdressers here in the UK that will do these procedures on people which is a really scary thought. These people are putting something into your body which isn't meant to be present and you never know how your body will react to these things, everyone is different and something that can be okay for one person could be life threatening for someone else.
